Club Booking

Booking the venue

Full members of the Social Club may apply to book the Club for personal use, provided they have been full members for a continuous period of at least 12 months prior to the date of submitting the booking request. Junior members are not permitted to book private events and no 18th or 21st birthday parties may be booked. Bookings can be requested by completing the Booking Request Form, below. The committee has the right to accept or reject any application at its sole discretion. 

Members, Village groups and organisations who wish to use the Club are invited to make a donation to cover running costs (e.g., heat, light, electric etc). The Committee recommend an amount of £7.50 per hour, with a minimum donation of £10. Please download this form and return it to the Club with your donation.

The member making the booking is responsible for clearing up, removing and taking away all waste from food or other items brought on to the premises, cleaning all table surfaces (with warm water only, No detergents) and vacuum cleaning the flooring, before the Club’s next opening session. The waste bins outside the Club are not to be used for this waste disposal.

Use of Blu Tac, Sellotape and other adhesives or materials that may damage paintwork, furniture or fittings is not permitted. Balloons, banners, etc., may be tied up with string.

A cash or cheque deposit of £100, to cover any breakages or damage, will be required. Once your booking has been approved, please ensure that you provide an envelope containing the deposit, clearly marked with your name and the event date, to one of the volunteers behind the bar (during opening hours) at least two weeks in advance of your event.

In the event of loss or damage to the Social Club premises or Social Club property, or breach of the Booking Terms and Conditions, the deposit will be retained by the Social Club, and the member booking the venue shall be personally liable for reimbursing the Social Club in respect of the full cost of any repair/replacement costs it may incur as a result of such damage or breach.

 

Booking request form

No booking(s) will be confirmed until approved by the Social Club Committee. Members/ organisations wishing to book the Club must allow adequate time for the Committee to consider their request. Booking requests not received in a timely manner will be rejected. You must read and agree to our Booking Terms and Conditions
