GOVERNANCE & MEMBERSHIP

Horsmonden Social Club is a private members club run by a team of volunteers, managed by an elected committee and governed by the Club Constitution and Trust Deed.

Existing members who have held their membership for a continuous period of 12 months may propose applications from present and former residents of Horsmonden village and the immediate surrounding community aged 18 years and over. (Existing members may also propose applications for junior membership from their immediate family, aged 16 or 17).

Members and invited guests are expected, at all times, to comply with the club’s constitution and in particular, to be respectful towards other guests, bar volunteers, visitors to the club premises, and the club’s neighbours.

The club has a zero-tolerance policy towards abusive and/or aggressive and/or violent behaviour (whether threatened or actual), and any such behaviour will lead to a permanent ban on entry to the club premises and expulsion from the club’s membership.

Acceptance of applications for membership will be at the sole discretion of the committee.
